In the Summer of 1983, Jeff Smith’s idea of fun was roping in his backyard with family. By 1986 this turned into hosting jackpots at local arenas.
With hard work and passion, Jeff’s dream was realized when the hobby of team roping turned into a career. Jeff’s first USTRC sanctioned event was held in 1990 and JSP was born.
Since then, JSP has partnered with 3 Point Productions, and together are continuing to grow into one of the nation’s most sought-after roping productions. Jeff, Scott Gage and their team take pride in having great cattle, hosting great events with massive prizes, and making sure ropers always leave happy.
