The seventh and final day of the 2021 World Cup Finals kicked off at 9am on 10/30/21. To close out the week, a brand new 2022 Chevy 1 Ton Dually was given away in the 9.5 Bob Meyer Truck Roping. The World Cup Jr. Looper was also held at 1 pm for kids 12 and under.
The 9.5 Bob Meyer Truck Roping put $13,730 back in the pockets of the top three teams:
1st : Curtis Buckler & Dace Morris, $6,220
2nd: Cash Crump & KJ Ashkar, $4,220
3rd: Tryan Teague & Dace Morris, $3,290
Fast Time: Travis Terrill & KJ Ashhar, $400
The High Point Roper of the Truck Roping got to claim the truck. To be the High Point Roper, they had to place in the top 20 and accumulate points. The first place team gets 20 points each, the second place team gets 19 points, and so on. The more times and the higher the ropers place in the top 20, the better their chances are at being the High Point Roper.
The lucky winner was 16 year old, Dace Morris. He placed 1st, 3rd and 7th in the short-go, taking home the truck and $10,570 from this roping.
The World Cup Jr. Looper was held in three age groups. 6 years old and under roped first, ages 7 to 9 roped next and 10 to 12 year olds finished the event. The kids had the chance to win a Heel-O-Matic Super Slider, Classic Ropes and bags, and buckles.
The 6 and Under age group winners were:
1st: Rance Williams
2nd: Kailani Williams
3rd: Barrett Williams
4th: Kailee Williams
The 7 to 9 age group winners were:
1st: Cole Vernon
2nd: Pace Padget
The 10 to 12 age group winners were:
1st: Leevey Williams
2nd: Randen Davis
3rd: Kasten Davis
4th: Westyn Meister
